You know it's the beginning of New York Fashion Week when you wake up like it's Christmas morning. The anticipating week has officially started! Thousands will be in the city attending star studded presentations. It's the time of year any Park Ave. princess would trade her last Prada for front row seats to the best shows. (Don't judge the fact that I'm currently binge watching Gossip Girl)... This is the first fashion week for the year.... the next one occurs in September, but the madness starts this season. Mercedes-Benz hosts shows in the heart of New York for high fashion designers like Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren and Zac Posen. Exhibits for fast-fashion brands like Public School and Yeezy will also be taking place.

I have no tips for any of you going to NYFW this year considering the fact that I've never went. My only suggestion is that you take a load of photos. New York's weather around this period is still very cold so it's best to stay warm but also stay VERY stylish. This is the time for you to look your best. I mean, its fashion week....what better moment to make a statement. To have a share in the excitement, I decided to create a few nyfw inspired looks... Street Style vs. Celebrity Style (look details are on my polyvore):

 Street Style is for the bloggers, photographers, stylists, buyers... The underground guests that usually fill the seats at these shows. The rapid-paced week calls for fashionable but easy outfits. So many will be on the streets looking for people to feature on their blog, in a magazine or even in a newspaper. Be sure make people aware of what you have on each day and walk the pavements in style.

Celebrity Style can be different than the usual street style at fashion week. Stars may opt to wear exquisite pieces and lavish garments rather than a coat from Topshop. They usually wear an article by the designer of the particular show they're attending.  Already being the center of attention, it's a must that they look fabulous!
