Trend Report: Lace-Up Lovin'

11:36:00 PM

Tying only your shoes is so 2007. Well, who knows what year shoe lacing was actually invented, I just like talking about the year 2007. Anyway, this season it's all about tying literally almost anything now. A top, a bottom, a dress, and emerging way past its sneaker phase, we even see them now on heels and sandals. Lately, lace-up designs have not only been ripping the runway, but also the street.
The cool criss-cross fashion phenomenon creates a casual yet chic look. Nevermind the fact that it may only remind you about a romantic and seductive corset. Lacing is truly a sexy and appealing trend that has been generating a name for itself past the usual tennis shoe. If you have not spotted a laced-up piece yet, you have not been looking. It's everywhere! Stores, high-fashion shows, you name it... designers are making complete use of its excellence.  In most cases it is fastened at the front, automatically making anything that has it a statement piece. With this, you do not really need to do much to an outfit as it concerns to the styling aspect. However, sometimes the loops can just be small details to a garment to help develop distinctiveness. Wherever your lace-up may fall, do not be afraid to try it out. Here's a few looks that I created that may help you with dressing up the seemingly complicated arrangement of lacing.

I am particularly enjoying the fun trend. Though I may get tired of tying, give it to me, it's worth it! (ignore my Fifth Harmony song mention, truth is, my inner
soul believes that I'm apart of their girl group).  If you are loving the lace-up movement just as much as I am, tag me in a look that you opted for featuring the hot trend.
