Fashion Review: Victoria Secret Fashion Show

11:01:00 PM

Eccentric faces, skinny waists, all standing about 6 feet tall or over, on the long exclusive runway... These angels strutted in immaculate pieces to the beat of popular tunes all in one special night. The most anticipated annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show was aired on Tuesday evening and we were all able to finally see the beautiful presentation for ourselves. The actual show took place about a month earlier but this is the first time tv viewers could see what it was all about... as usual.

I was captivated from the start. Some parts of the show reminded me of Coachella, while some reminded me of my grand mother's alluring garden. Other parts made me feel like I was in Winter Wonderland and I loved that most about this year's show. The diversifying themes gave made it seem like there were so many settings in one and I can only imagine how those who actually attended the show felt.

Both the new kids on the block, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner had their VS debut. Considering that it was their very first time walking for this show, they did FANTASTIC!

Each model was draped in a distinct stunning ensemble that perfectly enhanced the lingerie being primarily exhibited.

Maria Borges in particular, made a huge statement by opting to ditch the famous shiny long waves that usually takes over the runway. Making history, and being an inspiration to the industry, she went natural and rocked a short afro for the very first time. What a milestone for black culture!

This year's trends certainly found itself on the catwalk as well. Suede along with lace-up items made evident reveals and fringe was almost perpetual.

Dramatic wings did a takeover. Fluorescent colored feathers swept any doubt of this show being truly eye-catching and one to remember.

This look was one of my absolute favorites! The flawless Cindy Bruna wore a sexy black number and the way the styled it with a ivory ostrich feather covered overlay made me adore it even more. Sensational!

Aside from wings, some costumes were made with back pieces that gave an epic illusion. Almost making it look like the designs were actual stage backgrounds, these angels carried the arrangements on their backs fiercely to create a thrilling depiction.

I guess this winter will indeed be a snowy one. This collection of white was one to remember.

The PINK segment is probably my most-liked portion of the show. Probably because I look forward to actually buying pieces from that collection rather than the more seductively romantic garments (solely because single old me has no one to wear them for).

To make the show even more amazing, there were live performances by three stars that had ground-breaking careers this year. Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding all sang remarkably.

Lastly, some stylish folks in attendance at the show included Yolanda Foster and Kris Jenner who were proud mothers cheering their girls on. Nick Cannon himself looked sharp as always. Angela Simmons, Harley Viera Newton, Caroline Vreeland kept it fashionable.

I couldn't wait to finally see the show for myself. I also couldn't wait to do my review on it. It was all worth it. I could re-watch this year's show again and again because it was nothing short of great!
The countdown now begins for 2016's event. I can only imagine what they have in store for that one.
