Suede is the fresh crave! Emerging from a multitude of fabrics, it's one of the most softest materials and I truly think its a winner! Despite its rough edgy appearance, the velvety smooth texture is rather promising for any garment. This fall I am seeing less actual leather and more suede! Jackets, shoes, bags, hats, skirts and even shifts are adopting the flavourful textile. 

My previous trend report actually featured its partner in crime. Through out the duration of this year's fashion week, countless designers showcased immaculate pieces with a combination of fringe and suede. Suede was originally trendy in earth tone shades... Brown, beige and black... However, its striking reinvention this season is beyond conspicuous. Bright colours in suede is the new "it factor" nowadays and I totally approve of the bold approach because suede can also be ready-to-wear during other times of the year. 

This is yet another trend that reminds me of Coachella.... It certainly gives off a desert-like feel, with a whole lot of style... (Maybe I just need to attend Coachella because only fashion is taking me there at this point.)
