Another event to celebrate females? Ofcourse, I had to review this one. Fashion at the "Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon" was nothing like the fancy award shows we've been praising this year but style was most certainly evident. Celebrity divas walked the red carpet in jumpsuits and mini frocks totally deeming the affair to be one of semi formality. Nothing I didn't mind at all though... almost everyone's apparel seemed to be desirable at the function.... Here are my favourite looks:   

Lala Anthony wore a Victoria Beckham number. The mid length dress looked exceptionally sleek and the soft neutral color made it even more easy on the eyes.

Iyanla Vanzant took a break from fixing lives and decided to slay lives in this outfit. 

Amber Riley arrived in a bright yellow flare dress. I loved the way she accessorized it, especially with the red heels... making her look pop even more.

Tia Mowry mastered style skills by teaming contrasting prints. The rare red carpet risk was actually effortless on this beauty. 

The gorgeous Letoya Luckett dressed in a pure white jumpsuit styling it perfectly with a pair of green snake skin pumps and a gold box clutch. 

Tika Sumpter's savvy black dress had essential elements I was here for the most. With its short cut and bow tied at the front, she undoubtedly stood out.  

Spicing up the party was actress Emayatzy Corinealdi in a radiant red ensemble.  

Keke Palmer kept it trendy in a panelled mesh black and nude piece. The zipper detail at the front of the bottom portion gave her look the ultimate edge. 

One who has been killing the game lately, Serayah selected a statement lime green shift. What made her garb ideal and different was the cut out portion at the waist and the connected black straps which she used to form a choker-like design. She completed her busy outfit with Sophia Webster sandal heels.

Jurnee Smollett-Bell posed in a sleeveless white playsuit representing noble simplicity but with a pretty hot pink lip color there's no denying she didn't want to be too modest.

Zendaya dressed in a crafty wine shaded silk garment by Thakoon and matched her polished pointed toe pumps with the white patterns.

Pants were obviously all around! Singer Kelly Rowland was photographed in an ivory blouse and a pair of saffron floor length trousers that feature a sharp middle pleat. 

Creator of Fashion Bomb Daily, Claire Sulmers dominated in the stripe field wearing a custom chic blazer dress.

Garcelle Beauvais drew my attention in a opened button, side tie white top and a two toned high waisted bottom.  

Kelly McCreary went for a festive look wearing a colorful long dress with its halter neckline.

Reality star, Evelyn Lozada indulged herself with the one-piece craze and smashed it in a pink blush tone.

After seeing so many ladies look enthralling in casual attire at this luncheon, I couldn't wait to cover the amazing style for the very time.
