Fashion Review: Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2015

Out of the minimal amount of award shows this month, the Glamour Women of the Year celebration finally rolled around. The name of this award show speaks so much volume. It is really refreshing to know that there's a special award night solely to salute influential women in pop culture, most being who I truly adore. Aside from the purpose of the feministic presentation, I was astonished by the ravishing fashion. Ladies who were being honoured and those that were not, all exhibited class, style, and charm! I felt compelled to talk about the amazing fashion because I have never done a review for this award show before and it was definitely one to talk about this year. Here's a run down of who really showed out at the event.
Taking a less elegant risk, Selena Gomez wore a dress with pvc fabric and looked absolutely perfect doing so. I'm not only obsessed with the red hot color but the meshed upper portion of her frock and sophisticated white collar epitomizes fashion. Classic Valentino! She kept it simple and wore a pair of peep toe silver metallic heels, which brought the outfit together well.
Is there ever a day Lupita does not slay? Seriously! She is a dream. She stepped out in a floor length gown that looks like it was designed by angels above. The cut-out and peplum details of the dress give her a smart-edgy look and the dark green tone complements her in every way. The hair? gorgeous! Jewellery? Impressive.
The beautiful Reese Witherspoon is another actress that rarely disappoints. I usually picture her draped in more formal dresses but for the event she opted for a floral embellished sheath. The dress gives off a vintage appearance but she styled it with a pair of chic black platform heels which was ideal.
I'm loving this look on comedian Amy Schumer. If it was someone else wearing the dress, I would probably have mixed feelings about it, but it was certainly made for her. With its popping hue, the mid length shift looked outstanding on her and I am definitely high fiving her choice to pair it with strappy sandal heels.
My favorite of the night! Not that I am crazy obsessed with her son Brooklyn or anything, but Victoria Beckham is giving me life in this number from her very own collection. Bright red must have been the color of the night but with this stunning look she did not make the shade seem drawn out at all. Bringing Brooklyn as her date in this tailored suit wasn't a bad decision either. Let's be honest, him or her husband is perfectly fine. Both are eye candy.
I'm giving a major nod to Scandal star Kerry Washington's fit. Flashing in a dazzling bejewelled high slit skirt, she formed a set with a black cropped top. With her bottom already decked out in sparkly stones, she wore little accessories and polished her look with pointed toe pumps and a boxy clutch.
Elegance was surely present on the red carpet. Kate Hudson wore a shiny maroon ensemble that maintained her expected sexy image with its plunging neckline.
Models were indeed in attendance. International beaut Jessica Hart look was sweet and romantic. The soft metallic pumps were enriching, bringing total enhancement to the cool white dress with lace material. Somehow the quirky clutch fell in flawlessly as well.
Jennifer Hudson was another favourite of mine! She had two outfits for the night, both extremely stylish. On the carpet she donned in a silver Marchesa design and gave off an old Hollywood vibe.
The "red memo" was also given to Eleanour Tomlinson but she dimmed it down a bit and wore a rather artistic long sleeve piece. Covered in roses, the darker tint was constantly displayed in her attire.
"Orange Is The New Black" darlings rocked white masterpieces along with Eve Hewson.
These ladies were all striking in black. Notice, Jennifer Hudson made the list again in an exquisite cape jumpsuit.
I was very well pleased with all the looks of the night. I am now anticipating to see next year attendees.
