"All this love....." I sang through the mic in the small studio as my voice transmitted loudly through the speakers and my producer bounced to the smooth beat. I'm Celine Perez, an emerging Hollywood recording artist. My first name is my stage name and my passion is singing as well as performing. I recently got a record deal at Def Jam and it's the best decision that I've ever made. The huge decision however, certainly meant working harder and that is exactly what I've been doing lately. I just got done going over the rough pitches on every track on my debut album and now that the songs are all complete, I am excited yet nervous for the project to be released. 

      The release date is in a few days but I'm most concerned about the perception. Luckily, I already have the audience that are all patiently waiting but this is my very first album. Everyone knows me to be the style girl at every event in LA. Thankfully, I have a stylist, Alicia, who has help immensely with the start of my success and I've recently been able to grasp the attention of many which is the perfect thing I need with this outbreak of my singing career. Being regarded as a "style star" for the past few months has been amazing but now I'm ready to showcase my other talents. Promotion begins this week for the album entitled "Upgrade You" and I know that my stylist will have me fresh each day so that I am able to receive even more exposure.  
    The following morning, it's the start to this week of pure marketing. My label has so many things lined up and with my team of an assistant, a bodyguard, a make artist, hair stylist, and Alicia at my side, this all should be fun. Today I have a video shoot for my first single that is currently climbing the radio charts. The idea I created in mind for this video was a sexy with a hint of sophistication aesthetic and it seems as if that's what I'm getting.
  I'm styled in a red triple choker bra piece covered by a black Tom Ford tuxedo  blazer. My bottoms are a pair of striped nude and black high waisted cigarette trousers and for shoes I have on classic black patent leather Dolce and Gabbana pointed toe pumps. With dangling black diamond earrings and rosy red lips, I look the part. Now that I'm all dressed, the tapes are rolling. After a full day of recording, I am pleased with the way everything turned out. The video will be viewed at the album release party and I'm already anticipating the big night.
  On to day two, and I'm booked for countless radio interviews. Stations all across the city requested my presence and it's exciting to visit most of them today. Being on the move definitely calls for a comfy but chic look.

 Alicia put together an outfit which includes a colorful fringe crotchet-panel jersey sweatshirt paired with high waisted skinny black jeans. My accessories are a bright yellow Salvatore Ferragamo medium sized 'Sophia' handbag, black Giuseppe Zanotti suede beaded ankle strap 'Alien' stilettos, 3.1 Phillip Lim Round frame sunglasses to match, crystal stacking rings, stud gunmetal earrings, and a black diamond macrame bracelet. I absolutely love it! Even Ryan Seacrest commented on my stylish look.
  The next night, it's hours leading up to release time. Preparing for the party, I have tons of butterflies because the album will be available at midnight. Luckily, what I'm wearing eases my anxiety.

 I feel amazing in a silky two-piece bronze midi dress and coat set. The ensemble is complemented by black Versace strappy sandal heels designed with gold studs, a black and gold Tory Burch 'Diana' clutch, black and gold twisted rope 'Onyx' earrings, a gold three hole Katie Rowland ring, and plumped wine lips. Arriving at the party, I am greeted by tons of people that comprise family members, friends, other celebs and press! Here we are spending the night dancing to every song on the album and everyone seems to be obsessed with already. At 12 a.m. , confetti flew to the echoes of "Congratulations!" and I cried tears of joy. My very first baby is officially out and I couldn't be happier. Finally, we also got the first look of the music video which will be running on almost every channel tomorrow and it came out perfect.
    I'm awake the morning after to so many overwhelming announcements. Not only did my album hit number one on iTunes overnight but the single is also now number one on billboard. I'm guessing the amazing video really pushed it a bit more and I'm so grateful.Speaking of the video, I had just jumped out of the hotel bed as it played on MTV.
"Okay now it's time to get ready", my assistant alerted.
"What's planned for today?", I asked inquisitively.
She then screamed, "ELLEN!"
Ellen is my favorite show ever. I hope I don't get too crazy later when I sit with her. Alicia got me in my clothing instantly.
