Fashion Review: People's Choice Awards 2016

Away from the fashion, when I hear of PCA, I instantly think of Zoey 101.
I just thought I should mention that. Remember that show? It was the best then it got cancelled out of no where. Anyways, the point is, I've never watched the People's Choice Awards but I am always a major fan of the usual red carpet looks.

Some of us may or may not be still trying to soak in all of the good fashion we saw in 2015 at award shows but award season this year wasted no time and this is one of the first big events for 2016.
To my recognition, the PCA's is one out of the many award celebrations that allow celebrities to take a break from the normal evening gowns. This year proves my outlook even more. Styles of the night ranged from chic modern trends to casual fashion-forward ensembles. I mean the most formal outfit of the night was probably a pant suit. Last week, stars arrived to the annual presentation in style and of course I had a few favorites.
Teen Wolf actress Arden Cho showed off as a complete Asian beauty in a sheer-like rose printed black and red frock. With its high slit, she stretched out a leg wearing classic patent leather black pointed toe pumps.
Kat Graham effortlessly rocked a black and cream David Koma design giving me pure edginess. The midi dress created with different patterns looked pretty cool on the Vampire Diaries star and I'm truly impressed by the way she styled it with a pair of cut out pumps so perfectly.
Sasha Alexander appeared vibrantly on the carpet. Her monochrome look from head to toe caught the attention of many. The contrasting calf-length piece matched her modish laced-up heels and radiant scarlet lips.
I fell absolutely in love with this unique white jumpsuit worn by Portia De Rossi. The eccentric design of the bottom with its cape detail makes the number rather special and the metallic belt makes it pop.
This here is definitely a top look of mine. Julianne Hough did it in this shiny black cut out floor sweeping garment.
Simplicity at its finest... Camilla Luddington opted for white as well. Again, like many others, she carried a stylish clutch and looked amazing.
Super model Amber Valletta excelled in nude. She adds to the list of those that stood out in the latest trends. Lace-up heels and cut-out garbs for the win!
Gorgeous Lea Michele posed in a short skater embroidered black sheath. The designer t-strap pointed toe pumps along made her outfit even more fabulous.
All white with a little black on the feet, Maggie Lawson wore a soft pleated side-slit skirt with a long sleeve high rise top. Her pearly box purse and black strappy sandal heels were the ideal accessories.
Keke Palmer won my heart with this ravishing set. The decked out off the shoulder crop highly complemented her mermaid fitting bottom and she looks flawless.
TV host Renee Bargh formed a contemporary and snazzy look by layering a blue fully see through dress over a black bandeau and mini skirt separate.
Although I had mixed feelings about Vanessa Hudgens outfit choice all night, I settled on the fact that the retro grunge apparel was actually exquisite.
Oh hey! Another white jumpsuit... at this point I'm convinced the memo said everyone should dress alike but that definitely does not take away from the fact that Kate Hudson looked heavenly as usual.
These Pretty Little Liars had their own lovely dress code going on and all wore black.
A few others that dressed up in the popular color were Nia Long, Meghan Trainor and Katie Stevens.
Pastel shades on these ladies was refreshing to see after all!
Despite the fact that I did not see the actual show that aired on Wednesday, I am able to say the red carpet looks were satisfying enough.
