Fashion Review: Vanity Fair Oscars After Party 2016

2:50:00 PM

Following trends from the Oscars red carpet, with just a little more sequins, we knew it could only be a fancy party. The Vanity Fair After Party can possibly be named party of the year already. Starlets strutted in front of the cameras on the floors that had the words "Vanity Fair" engraved and gave the utmost life with their spectacular fashion choices for the evening. Some switched from their award show apparel while some didn't... and for the designers that did not get their flawlessly crafted collectibles showcased at the Academy's, this was the place to see them all. Here are my favourites:

Gwen Stefani blew everyone's mind wearing a red Yanina Couture masterpiece. The sheer organza decked out with flower petals brought her entire look to life!

In another sleek gown, this time by Naeem Khan, Rachel McAdams glistened in a lighter hue with sparkles.

Remaining edgy, Jennifer Lawrence donned chic Alexander Wang separates.

Stephanie Bauer changed into a flowy blue dress exuding true beauty.

Model Ashley Graham went for a stylish provocative appeal and nailed it.

Lady Gaga wore her second white Brandon Maxwell design for the night looking marvellous.

Priyanka Chopra seriously resembled an arresting diamond as she shimmered in silver...

Olivia Munn toned it down in color and slayed in an olive green article that had keen cut out elements.

Kate Upton arrived in a simple black frock but still managed to have all eyes on her.

With sharp cut outs, a side pocket, and mid slit, Miranda Kerr's outfit pick is the ultimate dream.

Speaking of dreams, Kate Bosworth had everyone fantasizing over this ornate pastel shaded item by Ralph & Russo. This look was definitely one of a kind.

An additional dazzling diva hitting up the party was Lily Donaldson.

Elizabeth Banks could do no wrong in this deluxe ivory ensemble with a cape attached to sleeves of a sensationally ornamented top.

Chrissy Teigen kept it classy but flashy in a black dress covered in sequins.

Dashing and exotic are two words to describe Sara Sampaio in Zuhair Murad.

Emily Ratajkowski delivered sporting a unique black sheath.

Maria Sharapova styled in a white asymmetric mini that shined with pearly embellishments.

Diane Kruger looked like absolute royalty in a wine see through piece adorned with tassels and lavish jewels.

Taylor Swift stepped out in classic Alexandre Vauthier Couture.

Natasha Poly swathed into a dress that had quite a celestial effect.

Kerry Washington slipped into a haute couture number.... I loved this look much better than what she wore at the award show.

Kate Beckinsale sizzled it up in black and white!

Keeping the sequin craze alive, Lily Collins defined glamorous.

Many at the Oscars may have rocked white, but for party time, a collective few in LBD's surfaced.

It's really hard to say which event had the best fashion last weekend.. I enjoyed seeing styles everywhere. The Oscars still hasn't won me over considering their lack of diversity when it comes to nominees but atleast the fashion took an ounce of my attention.
